Information we collect

InspectHOA collects the following categories of personal information:

(a) directly from you, such as through forms on our Website or if you choose to contact us, 

(b) from our clients via the Client Portal or the API (sellers’ information),

(c) from public sources and third parties, such as government agencies, and multiple listing services (or MLS),  

(d) from public sources that are not covered by b) but are used to collect HOA information,

(e) from the device and browser that you use to access our Site, and 

(f) cookies and similar technologies.


We may collect your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, company name, and any other information you may choose to provide on our website. We also collect the buyer and seller names, contact information, and property address during the address creation on our Client Portal and the API.

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

Internet Activity and Log Files

InspectHOA follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and are a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

We may collect information concerning your interaction with our Site, including when you access the Site and your browsing activity on the Site (such as which pages you visited, in what order, and for how long). This may include “traffic” data or tracking information provided by the Site’s host or similar providers, such as Google Analytics, and may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving our services.
